COUNTRYSIDE, ILL.- Rescheduling the match from earlier this month, the Concordia Chicago University (CUC) Cougars versus Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) Raiders, competed with hard work and competitive spirit, earning two points but ultimately fell 5-2.
DOUBLES

In the No. 1 doubles Amelia Engleman (McKinney, Texas) and Amirah Shakir (Dekalb, Ill.) and No.2 doubles Brianna Bentz (Whitehall, Mich.) and Hannah Uphole (Hinkley, Ohio.) took the courts and fought hard, each securing a game point before falling to the Raiders, 6-1.

In No.3 doubles, Sarah Gustafson (Merrill, Wis.) and Abigail Krueger (Brookfield, Ill.) set the tone with a dominant performance, shutting out the Raiders in an impressive 6-0 victory.
SINGLES

Krueger carried that momentum into singles play, powering her way to a straight set 6-3, 6-1 in the No.5 singles match.

Gustafson continued her winning streak with another strong performance, sweeping her No.6 singles match 6-3, 6-2 to secure another win for the team.

Bentz, Engelman and Shakir fought throughout their matches, trying to add every possible point and looking to build momentum. Despite their efforts, the Raiders came away with victories in all matches with scores of 6-2-6-0, 6-1-6-1, and 6-2-6-1.

In the No.4 singles, Upole put up a tough fight, pushing through a competitive opening set that consisted of a tiebreaker before narrowly dropping the set, 6-4.
