Adrian, Mich. - The Concordia University Chicago men's volleyball team was in Adrian, Mich. to go up against the Bulldogs of Adrian College. After a lot of back-and-forth, the Cougars swept the Bulldogs with 3-1.

Here's What Happened
Set One
The Bulldogs were able to drag in the first point of the set. This was countered by a kill from Elijah Mosher (Clayton, Ohio). Kills from Gudzovski helped to tie the teams up. Mistakes on the Bulldogs' end put the Cougars in the lead. A kill from Stella and an ace from Ford had put the Cougars up by four. The Bulldogs started to catch up to the Cougars, but the Cougars maintained their lead. Attacks from Holubek and Ford, along with continued errors from the Bulldogs had put the Cougars in a six-point lead. The Cougars had taken the first set with a score of 25-19, going into the second set at 1-0.

Set Two
The Bulldogs took the first point of the set; the teams exchanged multiple service errors at the beginning. Kills from Holubek had let the Cougars grab the lead once more. The Bulldogs remained on the tails, trailing by three. The teams tied up at 18 points before the Bulldogs took the lead. The Bulldogs approached set point after performing a strong kill. Holubek delivered a kill, trying to catch up to their opponents. The Bulldogs took the second set with a score of 25-22, the teams going into the third set tied at 1-1.

Set Three
A kill from Tyrise Armstrong (Grayslake, Ill.) started off the set. The Cougars quickly took the lead. Continuous errors from the Bulldogs, along with a kill from Holubek kept the Cougars up by five. Armstrong and Stella continued pushing during their lead with their attacks. Gudzovski got an ace, taking the Cougars' advantage to seven points. The Cougars maintained a nine-point lead against the Bulldogs, the biggest lead of the night. The Cougars took the third set with a score of 25-14, going into the fourth set at 2-1.

Set Four
An error gave the Cougars the first point of the set. A kill from Stella had let the Cougars start their lead by two. The Bulldogs quickly took the lead with kills and an ace, leading by three. The teams fought for the top spot; the Bulldogs took the lead again, leaving the Cougars behind. The teams tied up toward the end of the set. The Cougars took the fourth set with a score of 25-23, winning the match at 3-1.

What's Next
