RIVER FOREST, Ill. – On a chilly yet sunny afternoon, the Concordia University Chicago (CUC) men's tennis team hosted the Muskies of Lakeland University for a non-conference match. The Cougars showed out, taking the match 7-0.

Doubles:
- At first doubles, Collin Dickey (Frisco, Texas) and Reynaldo Leal (Weslaco, Texas) made quick work of their opponents, 6-2.
- Finishing next was Kyle Pelzek (Hales Corner, Wis.) and Kevin Bullens (River Forest, Ill.) at No. 2 doubles, taking the match 6-1.
- The Muskies forfeited the third doubles match, and the Cougars took a 1-0 lead into singles play.

Singles
- Bullens made quick work of his opponent at No. 3 singles, winning in two 6-0 sets.
- Nathan Stringer (Milwaukee, Wis.) took the point at first singles, winning 6-0, 6-2.
- At fourth singles, Diego Loveshe (Franklin Park, Ill.) battled for the first set win, 6-3 and then cruised to a 6-1 victory in set two for the point.
- At second singles, Sam Smith (Munster, Ind.) fought hard for every point. He won the first set 6-4, before falling in set two, 6-3. In the third set, Smith dug deep and came out on top 10-6.
