A word from Coach Chizzo:
"Lots to celebrate! Matthew and Vinny have put on quite a show for Day 1 in the Indoor heptathlon. Matthew PR'd in 3 out of the 4 first day events putting him in 5th place after day 1. Vinny also PR'd in 3 out of 4 for first day events as well putting him in 6th place. Matthew has a good shot at finishing top 3 with another solid day Proud of how we handled the level of competition of the days events and got some really good performances overall! Lots of PR's to celebrate and carry over into Day 2. Looking forward to seeing some record setting performances and more confidence building by end of day 2."
