RIVER FOREST, Ill. – Two members of the Concordia University Chicago women's volleyball team were honored by the Northern Athletic Collegiate Conference (NACC) today, as the conference announced its year-end awards.
Malainna Adler (Fenton, Mo.) and
Lili Hunt (Greenfield, Ind.) were named All-Conference Honorable Mention.
In her debut season, Adler made a statement as the team's setter. She played in all 26 matches, totaling 91 sets. She led the team with 737 assists throughout the season, setting a season-high 53 assists against Lawrence (Sept. 14). In the NACC, Adler ranked second among all setters with an average of 8.10 assists per set.
Hunt continued to be a key player for the Cougars in her junior year. She appeared in 20 matches with 63 sets played. She registered the second-most points (182.0), points per set (2.89), kills (160), and blocks (37.0) on the team. In the NACC, she ranked 16
th in kills with an average of 2.54 per set. Hunt also cracked the top 20 in the conference for points, averaging 2.89 per set.
