Wauwatosa, Wis. - On the road for their final regular season match of the year, the Concordia University Chicago (CUC) women's tennis team traveled to Wauwatosa Wisconsin, to compete against Wisconsin Lutheran College (WLC). After hard fought battles, CUC ultimately fell to WLC 6-1.

Doubles
In doubles, CUC could not attain a win, however there were several matches worthy of being highlighted.
Â
First, the duos of Mary Curtis (Worden, Ill.) and Evian Dubon (Franklin Park, Ill.) and Kamila Giza (East Dundee, Ill.) and Amirah Shakir (Dekalb, Ill.) were both able to score three points in their respective matches. Although unable to finish their matches with a win, there was notable growth for both duos.
Â
Putting up the biggest fight for CUC doubles matches came from the duo of Tatiana Overton (Bolingbrook, Ill.) and Jessica Parker (Lake in the Hills, Ill.), who were able to score four points in their match. Again we saw the pair unable to come out with the victory, but the team worked well and fought hard together.
Â
Singles
In singles, the lone victory of the day came from Parker, but we also saw a great fight put up by Overton.
Â
Overton was able to put up great numbers, score four points and three points in each round, but ultimately fell 6-4 and 6-3.
Â
Parker absolutely dominated her singles match. She did not allow her opponent to score a single point in the first round, winning 6-0, and the second round was a little tougher, she still managed to come out on top, winning 7-5.
