MEQUON, Wis. – The Concordia Chicago men's soccer team (4-10, 3-7 NACC) headed up to Mequon, Wis. this afternoon for another NACC contest against the Falcons of Concordia Wisconsin. The Cougars started strong, taking a nice lead, but the Falcons' offense couldn't be stopped in the second half and Concordia fell 5-4.

How it Happened
The Cougars and Falcons immediately put pressure on each other. Poynter put a shot on frame in the sixth minute, forcing a save from the Falcons' goalkeeper. Just four minutes later, Gudiel made two important back-to-back saves to keep the game scoreless. Delgado forced another save from Concordia Wisconsin a few minutes later, but it was Ocampo who was able to slot a ball from Senese into the back of the net in the 26
th minute and give the Cougars a 1-0 lead. The Cougars continued their prowl up the field, and Avila was able to score a goal just a few minutes before halftime. Concordia Chicago headed into the locker room with a 2-0 lead.
Gudiel made an early save in the second half while Poynter, Ocampo, Senese, and
Justin Ibarez (Chicago, Ill.) continued to create opportunities for the Cougars. Ocampo tripled the lead in the 67
th minute, scoring his second of the game. However, the Falcons would find a way back into the game and scored twice in the next five minutes. Delgado increased the Cougars' lead back to two, 4-2, in the 75
th minute. Unfortunately, the Falcons found their wings and scored three goals in the last 15 minutes of the game to steal it away from the Cougars, 5-4.
