Milwaukee, Wis. - The Concordia University Chicago Cougars continue their conference stretch with a loss against the Milwaukee School of Engineering Raiders 3-1.

Set One
The Raiders took an early lead against the Cougars, but Neva Foster (Parker, Colo.) tied the score 1-1 with a kill for the Cougars. Dicken with a kill, and  Shaira Marin (Rio Grande, Puerto Rico) service ace brought the score 4-1, in favor of the Cougars. The Raiders attempted to tie the score, but Dicken would stop their attempts with two kills 6-4, and the Cougars remained ahead. Keeping the lead, Christensen followed this up with a kill and a service ace, bringing the score 8-5. The Raiders closed the gap by one 8-7. Jessalyne Perkins (Chicago, Ill.) and Harmonie Cooper (Chicago, Ill.) ended the raiders' attempt with a joint block 9-7, keeping the Cougars on top. The Raiders would tie the score, but a kill from Foster would bring the lead back to the Cougars. The Raiders and the Cougars would exchange point for point with kills from Christensen and Dicken, on the Cougars side 13-12. The Cougars would follow this up with a kill by Perkins and a service ace from Christensen.The Raiders would follow this with a two-point rally, but Perkins would end this run with a kill, bringing the score 17-15. The Raiders followed this with a three-point run, taking the lead 18-17. Perkins would tie the score with a kill. The Raiders and Cougars would exchange points, bringing the score to 22-21, with the Raiders in the lead. However, Christensen with two kills and Cooper with a block would close the set, bringing in a four-point rally for the Cougars 25-22. The Cougars took set one.
Set 2
The Raiders would take an early lead with a four-point run 4-0. Dicken would stop this rally with a kill for the Cougars 4-1; however, the Raiders would respond with a three-point run, bringing the score to 6-1, still in favor of the Raiders. Christensen would end this rally with a kill of her own 6-2. The Raiders would continue building their lead 9-2, but the Cougars would close a gap with a three-point run through a service ace from Janelle White (Morton Grove, Ill.), bringing the score 9-5. Christensen, White, and Perkins would close the gap against the Raiders with kills 10-9. Perkins would then attempt to regain control of the set, bringing the score 13-11. However, the Raiders would take front-row control, taking the lead to 18-11. Dicken would end the Raider's run with a kill 18-12. The Raiders would follow this with a two-point rally, which was followed by a three-point rally in which Christensen brought two kills in to bring the score 21-15. A kill from Perkins, a joint block from Perkins and Cooper, and two service aces would attempt to close the gap against Raiders, but would ultimately not be enough to close the set 25-21.
Set 3
The Raiders took an early lead against the Cougars, but a kill from Rachel Livesay (Medinah, Ill.) would innate a run 1-1. A service ace from Marin and kills from McKayla LeVoy (Kankakee, Ill.) and Christensen 5-1. The Raiders followed this with a run of their own bringing the score 5-3. Christensen would end the Raiders rally with a kill 6-3. The Raiders attempted to close the gap, taking the score 7-6, but Christensen followed this with a kill 8-6. The Raiders would tie the score 8-8, but the Cougars would take the lead 9-8. The Raiders would take control of the set, taking the lead 11-10. The Raiders would follow this with a three-point run, bringing the score 14-10. Perkins ended their rally with a kill, followed by a block from Levoy and a kill from Cooper 15-14. The Raiders ended the Cougars three-point rally with a three-point rally of their own, 18-14. Christensen would end their rally with a kill 18-15, but the Raiders would go on a two-point run 20-15. Christensen, with a service ace and kill, would close the gap 20-17. There was an attempt from Levoy and Cooper to close the set with kills, but the Raiders ended the set 25-19.
Set 4
The Cougars would take an early lead. However, the Raiders would respond with a two-point rally, 2-1. Dicken would tie the score by bringing in a kill for the Cougars 2-2. The Raiders took control of the set 5-2. The Cougars followed this up with a two-point run, where Christensen would score with a kill 5-4. The Raiders responded with a two-point rally, which was ended by a service error of 7-5. However, the Raiders would continue their momentum by going on another rally 9-5. The Cougars attempted to bring energy. However, the Raiders would go on a seven-point rally, 16-6. An error from the Raiders would bring momentum to the Cougars, but the Raiders shifted it back into their favor 20-7. Dicken ended the rally with a kill of their own, bringing the score 20-8. The Raiders would bring in a three-point run against the Cougars that was ended by Christensen with a kill 23-9. This was followed by a kill by Dicken, but the Raiders would end the set 25-11.
