BOURBONNAIS, ILL – On a cold and rainy day in Illinois, the Concordia University Chicago men's track and field team headed South to take on day two of the ONU Tiger Open.
Notable Cougar Performances
- Martin Egbo picked up a second place finish in the hammer throw after breaking the previous school record with his first toss. Egbo's final toss on the day shattered the school record by nearly two meters yet again and secured him a second place finish with a distance of 47.31.
- Avery Jones picked up an eighth place finish in the long jump with a mark of 6.02m.
- Vincent Scarnato secured a new personal record in the 400m with a time of 54.28 seconds to grab a ninth place finish.
- Matthew Cardwell trailed just behind and picked up a tenth place finish in the 400m with a time of 54.75.
- Austin Knight picked up a ninth place finish in the 200m with a time of 22.96 seconds.
The Cougars will be back in action on Friday April 28
