Elmhurst, Ill.- The Concordia University Chicago (CUC) men's track and field team competed at the Chicagoland Outdoor Championship. The Cougars delivered an impressive showing, battling for the best of the best in Chicago.
NOTABLE PERFORMANCES
- Korey Randle (East Moline, Ill.)Â leapt for 6.76m, placing first in long jump.
- Jayden Taylor (Southfield, Mich.) placed top 11 in long jump, leaping for 6.37m.
- Austin Jackson (Addis, La.) placed 20th out of 38 competitors in the javelin throw with a distance of 37.32 meters.
- Cosby Lux (Landgrove, Vt.) followed in 24th, recording a throw of 34.87 meters.
- Kamren Hannah (El Paso, Texas) finished 41st in the 100m prelims with a time of 11.39 out of 100.
- A few seconds later, Julian Switzer (Lake in the Hills, Ill.) finished 50th with a time of 11.46 in the 100m prelims.
- Austin Knight (Forest Park, Ill.) secured 52nd place in the 100m prelims with a time of 11.49.
- Gael Arroyo (Cicero, Ill.) picked up 29th place in the 1500m with a time of 4:13.09.
