WAUKESHA, WIS. — The wait is over for the outdoor season and the Concordia University Chicago (CUC) men's track and field team were ready to take on the challenge. With the Cougars ready to take action, they finished eleventh out of 12 teams.

With the highest placement in the meet, Gustavo Alvarez (Chicago, IL) took third in the pole vault with a mark of 4.35 meters. He also placed eighth in the javelin throw with a throw of 44.19 meters

Avery Jones (Hazelwood, Mo.) placed fifth in the high jump with a height of 1.80 meters
Cougars With New Personal Records (PR)

Austin Knight (Forest Park, Ill.) picked himself up a PR in the 100-meter preliminaries with a time of 11.67

Competing in the 5000 meter for the first time was William Leonard (Oskaloosa, Iowa), who took a time of 18:03.71

Jones picked himself up a PR in the long jump with a 5.89 meter mark
