Cougars With New Personal Records

  • Martin Egbo (Williamsburg, Va.) blew his old personal record out of the water as he threw a mark of 14.54 meters in the weight throw. This placed him eighth overall in conference standings, earning him All-Conference honors.

"We had a great start to the championship." Coach Steve Belanger had to comment, "Lora Haupt set the tone with a new school record in women's vault and then more than half our team left the day with a new PR. We are excited to see what day two brings!"

The Cougars will continue their action in the NACC Indoor Championships tomorrow in Ripon, Wisconsin, the meet will begin at 11 a.m. Coverage of this event and everything else women's track and field can be found at cucougars.com/coverage.
