RIPON, WIS. — The Concordia University Chicago (CUC) men's track and field team has reached the finale for their 2023 indoor season. They competed today in day one of the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Indoor Track and Field Championships, hosted by Illinois Tech. Many Cougars had the opportunity to go against the best in the conference and push for some new personal records.

Martin Egbo (Williamsburg, Va.) blew his old personal record out of the water as he threw a mark of 14.54 meters in the weight throw. This placed him eighth overall in conference standings, earning him All-Conference honors.
"We had a great start to the championship." Coach Steve Belanger had to comment, "Lora Haupt set the tone with a new school record in women's vault and then more than half our team left the day with a new PR. We are excited to see what day two brings!"
