RIVER FOREST, ILL. -- In the Homecoming weekend finale, the Concordia University Chicago Cougars played host to the St. Norbert College Green Knights. The Cougars fell 6-0.
 
Inside the Box

• Julian Yanez (Cicero, Ill.), Garrett Poynter (Noblesville, Ind.), Brandon Arias (Bensenville, Ill.), and Alexander Lechowicz (Chicago, Ill.) all recorded one shot on the day.
• Kyle Schultz (Pingree Grove, Ill.) snagged eight saves on the day as the lone keeper at work for the Cougars.

 
First Half
The Cougars fell into a rut early in the game after falling behind 1-0 within the first three minutes. The game remained stagnant for ten minutes until the Green Knights picked up another goal and extended to a 2-0 lead. The Green Knights were able to tack on another two goals before the Cougars had the opportunity for a shot, leading to the Cougars behind 4-0 at the half.
 
Second Half
Needing to find some momentum, the Cougars found their first shot in the 53rd minute of the game. Despite the Cougars finding more offensive possession in the second half, the Green Knights put up two more goals and secured the victory over the Cougars.
 
What's Next
