Milwaukee, Wis. — Closing out the 2022 season on Saturday afternoon, the Concordia University Chicago men's volleyball team took on the Milwaukee School of Engineering. The Cougars battled the Raiders tough throughout the contest but were unable to come out on top, falling 3-0 in the season finale.

Tyler Holubek finished the season with a double-double with 17 assists and 12 digs.

Luke Vozenilek had a team-high 15 kills.

The Cougars hit .204 offensively on the day.
CUC jumped out to an early 6-4 lead in set one, getting a block from Ricardo Ruiz and Vozenilek. The two sides battled into the late points where MSOE grabbed a lead. After MSOE extended their lead to 22-20, kills by Holubek and Vozenilek tied the set at 22. Unfortunately for CUC, the Raiders were able to score the final three points of the set to take set one 25-22.
In set two the two sides battled back and forth throughout the early points of the set. The set wouldn't be decided until MSOE was able to go on a 7-2 run to take a 17-12 lead. CUC tried to fight back, but fell in the set 25-19.
The Cougars battled back early in set three. MSOE opened the set on a 6-2 run, but a MSOE error and two kills by Vozenilek pulled CUC back even. The Cougars were able to briefly take a lead in the set, but MSOE was able to close out the match on a 9-3 run to take the match 3-0.
