ROCKFORD, Ill. --- The Concordia University Chicago women's soccer team hit the road on Wednesday night, taking on the Rockford University Regents in Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference action. A pair of free-kick goals were the difference, as the Cougars picked up a 2-0 win over Rockford.

The Cougars broke through in the third minute. After a foul was called on the Regents, Kenworthy was able to strike a perfect shot from just outside the top of the box to the top of the goal for her first goal of the season.

Medelin Loza doubled the CUC lead in the 75^th minute. After a Rockford foul, Loza struck a near-perfect ball from three yards outside of the box that found the back of the net. Loza's second goal of the season gave CUC a 2-0 lead.

Auloni Burnell got her first career start in the net on Wednesday night and helped to deliver CUC's third shutout of the season. Burnell made five saves on the night.
