RIVER FOREST, Ill. --- The Concordia University Chicago women's soccer team (3-5-4) faced off against the Alverno College Inferno (0-10-1) Wednesday afternoon. CUC dominated the match from the start with a relentless offensive effort. The Cougars braved the rainy conditions and went on to win 7-0.

It didn't take long for the Cougars to get on the board.
Medelin Loza scored from inside the 16-yard box in the 3
rd minute.
Jordyn Gosell followed suit in the 10
th minute. After two blocked shots, Gosell fired a shot just below the crossbar for her first goal of the match. CUC went into the locker room with a 2-0 on 21 shots in the first half

CUC ramped up their offensive efficiency in the second half. Loza quickly returned to scoring action with her second goal of the match in the 46
th minute. Gosell used the left foot from outside the 16-yard box for her second goal in the 59
th minute.
Allie Brown assisted on both goals and lifted CUC to a 4-0 lead.

CUC tallied six corner kicks in the second half.
Meagan Wilkinson-McQuaid capitalized on one in the 60
th minute with a header from Loza's corner kick. Her third goal of the season gave CUC a 5-0 lead.

Lucia Fullone scored her first goal of the season in the 65
th on a penalty kick. She scored again in the 67
th minute off an assist from
Julisa Diaz. The Cougars faced no shots on goal in the match went on to win the match 7-0.
