RIVER FOREST, Ill. -- As the Concordia-Chicago women's soccer team is closing out the season on a three-game road swing, the Cougars will head into their penultimate game of the regular season at Edgewood College tomorrow afternoon.
Kick off is slated for a 1:30 p.m. start time, approximately 30 minutes after the men's 11 a.m. match. Complete coverage can be found at

Last Time Out... CUC last hit the pitch on Wednesday down the road at Dominican. The Stars, who remain undefeated in conference play, jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead by halftime, and closed out the game with a 4-0 win.
Aleksia Vranjes and
Kassie Silenzi combined for nine saves, matching the season-high for a single game.Â
Playoff Implications... With the Cougars currently in the sixth spot among the NACC standings, they are in control of their own playoff destiny. Winning out the final two games of the season would guarantee CUC a spot in the playoff bracket, but any less than two wins will leave their fate in the hands of other results around the conference.Â
About the Eagles... While Concordia is 2-13 all-time against Edgewood, the Cougars have won the last two meetings against the NACC opponent. Currently, the Eagles are 6-11-1 overall, and 4-6 in conference play. With a notable overtime win against Benedictine University, Edgewood is averaging 1.83 goals per game while allowing 1.89, on average. Shannon Kaufmann leads the Eagles' charge, as the senior has six goals and five assists on the year.Â
Cougar Tape... With 31 goals on the season, including an opponent's own goal, CUC's offense has been well-shared throughout the year. Between the 30 (Cougar-scored) goals, CUC has had 14 different offensive producers. Junior
Esmeralda Torres leads the group with seven goals on the season, four of which came during Concordia's dominating win over Alverno College, while
Samantha Goodlett has also been a key contributor this year, with three goals and two assists.Â
