Opening Up: The Cougars look to get their quick two game road swing off on the right foot tonight when they faceoff with the MSOE Raiders in Milwaukee. This is a battle of two teams that narrowly missed the NACC tournament a year ago and are looking to make the next step.

Recent History: The Cougars own an 8-5 record since 2006 over the Raiders. MSOE has been able to take two of the last three matches through, including a four set victory over CUC on October 13 of last season in River Forest. CUC has struggled recently on the road at the Kern Center, last winning in Milwaukee in 2011.

About the Cougars: The Concordia University Chicago Cougars (6-11, 1-3 NACC) look to rebound after a four set loss to arch rival Concordia University Wisconsin on Wednesday night in River Forest. The match capped off a four match home stretch for CUC which was their longest of the season.
Jaylynn Johnson put together an impressive four match stretch, hitting .297 with 60 kills. Johnson, along with
Shannon Stamp helped to get the Cougar block going over the same stretch, as Johnson totaled ten blocks while Stamp had 20. CUC has been tough for their opponents with their serving all season long. The Cougars rank first in the NACC in team service aces with 111.

About the Raiders: The MSOE Raiders (6-9, 1-2 NACC) look to pull back to .500 in NACC play tonight. Most recently, they fell to Concordia University Wisconsin in Mequon on September 22 by a score of 3-0. MSOE is 2-3 at home in the Kern Center this season, with their last home match coming 20 days ago on September 8. Hannah Pekarek is the top all-around player for the Raiders in 2018. The senior outside hitter leads the team with a .225 hitting percentage this season. She also has recently gone over 1000 digs for her career. She leads the team in both kills and digs this season.

Coming up: The Cougars will have the weekend off to rest up for a busy week next week. The Cougars will first head to Benedictine on Tuesday night to take on the Eagles. CUC will then prepare for homecoming weekend. The Cougars will take on Rockford University next Friday, which will also be senior night. Concordia will then take on Edgewood as part of the busy homecoming day at noon on Saturday.
