Box Score Sept. 17, 2013 - Two of Concordia University Chicago's first-year football players, junior transfer Michael Brown (Modesto, CA/Johansen) and freshman Ryan Fischbach (South Elgin, IL/St. Charles North), had some of the national spotlight shine down upon them this week. The 37-yard touchdown play was one of four plays from around the nation nominated for Play of the Week by D3football.com.

The Cougars faced a third-and-24 to start the fourth quarter against the University of Chicago. Fischbach took the snap, rolled to his right and threw to Brown who was running toward the right pylon with a defensive back positioned in front of him. Brown leaped to make the catch while getting his right foot down just inside the sideline as the official signaled touchdown.
