Oct. 6, 2012 - The Concordia volleyball team's weekend trip to Wisconsin did not go as they had hoped. The Cougars three-set loss to Marian University was followed by today's 21-25, 19-25, 23-25 loss to Lakeland College in Sheboygan.
The Cougars were able to reduce their hitting errors today after a slew of them led to last night's loss. But Concordia could manage just a .181 attack today on the heels of 32 kills, nine errors and 127 chances.
Katie Freitag led the Muskies with 10 kills and a .318 attack.
Bianca Gordon (Milwaukee, WI/Milwaukee Lutheran) and
Claire Mackey (Shelton, NE/Heartland Lutheran) paced the Cougars with eight kills each while
Sarah Brendel (Hazelwood, MO/Hazelwood West) added seven.
Concordia (4-13, 2-6 NAC) returns to Geiseman Gymnasium to host Benedictine University on Wednesday night.
