Amy Grieashamer (Franklin Park, Ill.) of the women’s cross country team is honored for the week of Nov. 7-13.
Grieashamer ran a 27:44.7 in the NCAA Division III Midwest Regionals in Rock Island, Ill. Nov. 12. She was the first of the Cougar women to complete the 6K course. Her time was her best of the season, nine seconds faster than her previous best effort from Oct. 29 at the Northern Athletics Conference Championships.
Grieashamer, the daughter of Frank and June Grieashamer, is a 2008 graduate of East Leyden High School in Franklin Park, Ill. She is a senior studio art major.
