Chris Jahns (Roselle, IL) of the men’s soccer team is honored for the week of Oct. 10-16.
           
Jahns contributed goals in two matches last week as the Cougar men ended a long losing streak with a pair of victories. Jahns assisted on the opening goal and scored later in the first half as Concordia defeated Rockford College 5-0 Oct. 11. In the 2-0 win over Maranatha Baptist Bible College Oct. 14, Jahns scored the first goal just 3:54 into the match, a strike that would hold up as the game-winner.
           
Jahns, the son of Fred and Denise Jahns, is a 2008 graduate of Lake Park High School. He is a senior physical education major.
