Matt Rolf (Rochester, MI) of the football team is honored for the week of Sept. 19-25.

Rolf recorded a career-high 17 tackles (nine solo, eight assisted) and made two interceptions in the Cougars’ Sept. 24 game at Adrian College. The defensive back also had one pass break-up and a tackle for minus-four yards.

Rolf, the son of Jim and Cheryl Rolf, is a 2009 graduate of Lutheran Northwest High School in Rochester Hills, Mich. He is a junior exercise science major.
