Kamile Udrenaite (Crystal Lake, IL) of the women’s track and field team is honored for the week of May 6-12.

Udrenaite rewrote the Concordia women’s record book yet again with her latest hammer throw at the North Central College Dr. Keeler Invite on May 9-10. She recorded a 153’ 4” that beat her previous school record from two weeks ago by nearly eight feet (145’ 9”). Udrenaite has made tremendous gains in this event throughout the year, as her previous standard in the hammer entering the 2013 season was 119’ 2”.  

Udrenaite, the daughter of Greg and Ilma Udrenaite, is a 2011 graduate of Crystal Lake South High School in Crystal Lake, Illinois. She is a sophomore psychology major.
