Merrell Davis (Milwaukee, Wis.) of the men’s track team is honored for the week of March 28-April 3.

Davis scored nearly half of the men’s team points as they finished fifth out of 13 teams at the University of Chicago’s Ted Haydon Invitational April 2. Davis won three events to account for 30 points. His winning efforts came in the 100-meter dash (10.97), 200-meter dash (21.92) and the long jump (22’ 8 ½”). All three marks are personal-bests for Davis and put him among the top four all-time in Concordia history.

Davis, the son of Anne Novotny, is a 2008 graduate of Milwaukee Lutheran High School. He is a junior business management major.
