Merrell Davis (Milwaukee, Wis.) of the men’s track team is honored for the week of Feb. 7-13.

            

Davis set two school records Feb. 12 in the men’s competition at the Chicagoland Championships. He placed second in the long jump with a 22’ 5 ¼” and third in the 200-meter dash with a new conference-record time of 22.51 seconds. Davis also placed fourth in the 60-meter dash (7.12) and accounted for 19 of Concordia’s 21 points for the day.

           

Davis, the son of Anne Novotny, is a 2008 graduate of Milwaukee Lutheran High School. He is a junior business management major.
