Jessica Wilson (Indianapolis, IN) of the women’s track and field team is honored for March 20-26.

Wilson won the hammer throw at the University of Chicago’s Ted Haydon Invitational on April 1. Her throw of 162’ 7” (49.56 meters) was 22 feet better than her closest competition and 9’ 3” better than Kamile Udrenaite’s previous school record. In addition, Wilson’s mark is currently the tops in the conference and 14^th best nationally in the NCAA Division III.

Wilson, the daughter of Robert and Sandra Wilson, is a 2015 graduate of Indianapolis Lutheran High School in Indianapolis, IN. She is a sophomore music major.
