Mitch Pelissier (Puyallup, WA) of the men’s basketball team is honored for Jan. 8-14.
Pelissier averaged 21.7 points and shot 53 percent from the field in the Cougar men’s three games last week. The 6’3” forward had 25 points and eight rebounds to lead CUC to a Jan. 10 home win over Dominican University. Two nights later against 14th-ranked Benedictine University, he led the Cougars with a strong all-around performance that included 23 points (10-16 from the field), six rebounds and five assists.
Pelissier, the son of Steve and Jennifer Pelissier, is a 2015 graduate of Mount Rainier Lutheran High School in Tacoma, WA. He is a sophomore sports management major.
