Rodrigo Nava (Chicago, IL) of the men’s basketball team is honored for Dec. 12-20.

Nava led the CUC men to their first conference win of the season, 81-70 over Lakeland University on Dec. 20. Playing 26 minutes off the bench, the 6-4 forward scored 13 points and added six assists, four blocks and four steals. Nava scored his career-high in the game, and his four blocks give him 26 on the year for a NACC-leading 3.1 per game.

Nava, the son of Herlinda Nava, is a 2013 graduate of Morton West High School in Berwyn, IL. He is a junior business management major.
