Austin Thompson (Morris, IL) of the volleyball team is honored for the week of Oct. 10-16.

Thompson led the CUC volleyball team to a three-set win over Marian University on Oct. 15 with 12 kills and a .333 attack percentage. The outside hitter also shone in the Oct. 11 match against Dominican University with 18 kills, a .333 attack and three aces.

Thompson, the daughter of Tim and Tracy Thompson, is a 2014 graduate of Morris Community High School in Morris, IL. She is a junior with a double major of exercise science and natural sciences.
