Alisha Johnson (Coal City, IL) of the women’s soccer team is honored for the week of Oct. 3-9.
Johnson set the new CUC women’s record for career assists on Oct. 8 as the Cougars beat Lakeland University 6-1. Her 27th career assist, setting up Natalie Weinhold at the top of the box, enabled her to pass the previous record held by Alyssa Soulis (2010-13). Johnson also scored twice in CUC’s 5-0 win over Wisconsin Lutheran College on Oct. 5.
Johnson, the daughter of Brian and Beverly Johnson, is a 2013 graduate of Coal City High School in Coal City, IL. She is a senior biology major.
