Rashad Lofton (Detroit, MI) of the football team is honored for the week of Sept. 12-18.

Lofton accounted for 324 all-purpose yards in Concordia-Chicago’s Sept. 17 home game against Hope College. The speedy receiver caught eight passes for 166 yards, including touchdown receptions of 23 and 14 yards, while adding a two-point conversion reception. Lofton also returned five kickoffs for 158 yards, a 31.6 average, with a long return of 50 yards.
Lofton, the son of Fred and Kesha Lofton, is a 2013 graduate of Romulus High School in Romulus, MI. He is a senior business management major.
