Allison Kruk (Elgin, IL) of the softball team is honored for the period of Feb. 29-March 6.

Kruk enjoyed a career day on March 6 in the Cougars’ 14-1 pounding of Rivier College. She went a perfect 4-4 at the plate with five RBIs, two runs scored and two stolen bases. Kruk provided the game’s biggest clout with a three-run homer, the first of her career, in the sixth inning to help CUC open up a big lead.

Kruk, the daughter of Kevin and Susan Kruk, is a 2014 graduate of St. Edward High School in Elgin, IL. She is a sophomore sports management major.
