Danielle McCormick (Oak Park, IL) of the women’s cross-country team is honored for the week of Sept. 21-27.
            
McCormick ran a 24:26.3 for the 6K at Augustana College’s Brissman/Lundeen Invitational on Sept. 25. Her time shattered her previous-best mark by 45 seconds (Sept. 13, 2014 at Concordia Wisconsin Invitational) and enabled her to finish in the top 17 percent of a field that included 602 runners from among 50 teams.
           
McCormick, the daughter of Tony and Tracy McCormick, is a 2014 graduate of Oak Park-River Forest High School in Oak Park, IL. She is a sophomore special education major.
