Jacob Oakley (Sun Prairie, WI) of the men’s basketball team is honored for the week of Nov. 10-16.
Oakley scored all 12 of his points in the second half in lifting the Cougar men to a 90-76 win over Knox College on Nov. 15. Entering the game with the Cougars holding a slim two-point lead, Oakley hit his first shot from behind the arc. Oakley scored 11 of his points in a seven-minute span in which CUC outscored Knox 24-9 and extended their lead to 68-51. The 6’1” forward/guard finished 4-5 shooting, 3-4 from three-point range.
Oakley, the son of Jon and Lori Oakley, is a 2011 graduate of Sun Prairie High School in Sun Prairie, WI. He is a senior accounting major.
