Nick Cardenas (Hoffman Estates, IL) of the men’s soccer team is honored for the week of Sept. 13-19.
Cardenas scored his first goal in a CUC uniform in the Cougars’ Sept. 19 game at Marian University. “Nick comes in with a good work rate and mindset each day, and I’m happy for the success he is having and with his first goal,” said CUC head coach Micah Middendorf.
Cardenas, the son of Gilberto and Margarita Cardenas, is a 2012 graduate of Hoffman Estates High School in Hoffman Estates, IL and transfer from Loras College. He is a senior with a double major in psychology and criminal justice.
