Chelsee Wilson (Shawneetown, IL) of the track and field team is honored for the week of April 27-May 3.
Wilson added another chapter to her amazing first year with the CUC track and field team. She scored 19.5 points to lead the Cougars at the NACC Outdoor Championships on May 1-2. Wilson finished second individually in the 100 (12.49) and 200-meter (24.80) dashes. She also contributed to school-record times by the 4 x 100-meter relay team (49.73, second place) and the 4 x 400-meter relay team (4:12.22, third place).
Wilson, the daughter of Iles and Kristen Fort, is a 2014 graduate of Grayslake North High School in Grayslake, IL. She is a freshman communications major.
