Stefanie D’Anna (LaGrange Park, IL) of the softball team is honored for the week of March 23-29.

D’Anna batted 4-8 in CUC softball’s doubleheader at Lakeland College on March 28. The second baseman went 3-5 from the leadoff position in game two, scoring a run and driving home a run as part of a six-run seventh inning that led the Cougars to an 11-6 victory. D’Anna also had two stolen bases on the day and fielded nine chances perfectly.

D’Anna, the daughter of Anthony D’Anna and Cristina Marconi, is a 2014 graduate of Lyons Township High School in LaGrange, IL. She is a freshman education major.
