Logan Hoffert (Bradford, IL) of the men’s track and field team is honored for the week of Feb. 2-8.

Hoffert was part of two top efforts at the University of Chicago’s Windy City Rumble on Feb. 7. He set a personal-best mark with a time of 53.97 seconds in the 400-meter race while finishing seventh in a field of 30 runners, many of them from the NCAA Division I or NAIA levels. Hoffert was also part of the 4 x 400-meter relay team that finished seventh out of 21 with a time of 3:35.27.

Hoffert, the son of Dale and Becki Hoffert, is a 2013 graduate of Bureau Valley High School in Manlius, IL. He is a sophomore exercise science major.
