Hailey Lindblom (Richfield, MN) of the women’s basketball team is honored for the week of Jan. 19-25.

Lindblom’s energy sparked a late Cougars’ surge that led to a 95-89 comeback win over Alverno College on Jan. 20. Her defensive effort shut down the Inferno’s top scoring guard over the final six minutes. Lindblom also made a steal, two key free throws and a couple of timely defensive rebounds (one preceding the go-ahead score).

Lindblom, the daughter of Carla Lindblom, is a 2013 graduate of Richfield High School in Richfield, MN. She is a sophomore (freshman eligibility) communications major.
