Shania Kiser (Fremont, OH) of the women’s basketball team is honored for the week of Dec. 29-Jan. 4.
Kiser contributed off the bench with two strong efforts in the Cougars’ victories last week. Against St. Catherine University on Dec. 30, the 6’0” center scored six points and pulled down a season-high 11 rebounds including three in the overtime. In the Cougars’ Jan. 3 win over MSOE, Kiser scored nine points, pulled down nine rebounds and blocked a season-high four shots. She shot .625 (5-8) from the field and 1.000 (5-5) from the free throw line for the week.
Kiser, the daughter of Tiffany Jones, is a 2014 graduate of Fremont Ross High School in Fremont, OH. She is a freshman biology/nursing major.
