Morgan Jahnke (Fox Lake, IL) of the women’s basketball team is honored for the week of Dec. 1-7.
Jahnke recorded 14 points, five assists and three steals to lead the Cougars to their third consecutive win in conference play, 61-50 over Alverno College on Dec. 3. The 5’7” guard is averaging 9.8 points through six games, but her assist/turnovers numbers are more impressive. With her eight assists versus five turnovers last week, she is at an exact 2/1 ratio for the season with 24 assists against 12 turnovers.
Jahnke, the daughter of Matt and Reem Jahnke, is a 2012 graduate of Grant Community High School in Fox Lake, IL. She is a junior secondary education major with a specialization in physical education.
