Abby Pierce (Clinton Township, MI) of the track and field team is honored for the week of May 5-11.

Pierce followed up her strong performances at the conference championships with two personal-best marks at the May 9-10 Dr. Keeler Invitational at North Central College. She bettered her marks from the previous week by 13 inches in the discus (118’ 6”) and by 43 inches in the hammer throw (134’ 10”).

Pierce, the daughter of David and Diane Pierce, is a 2012 graduate of Lutheran High School Northwest in Rochester Hills, MI. She is an exercise science major.
