Meghan Johnson (Glendale Heights, IL) of the softball team is honored for the week of March 3-9.

Johnson went 2-1 with a 1.05 earned run average during last week’s action at the Space Coast Games in Cocoa Beach, Florida. She pitched 20 innings walking just two batters while striking out 14. Johnson’s wins came in a 1-0 shutout of Shawnee State University on March 4 and a 5-1 win over Finlandia University in the March 7 finale.

Johnson, the daughter of Bryan and Mary Johnson, is a 2012 graduate of Glenbard West High School in Glen Ellyn, IL. She is a sophomore pre-nursing major.
