Josh Warren (Chicago, IL) of the Cougar men's indoor track and field team is honored for the period of Feb. 17-23.
Warren won the men’s 400 at the Bradley Invitational with a new school-record time of 50.87 seconds, beating the previous mark by about a half-second. He won in a 25-man race, beating out some Division I challengers including the second and third-place finishers from Northwestern University and the University of Illinois-Chicago respectively. Warren also finished in fifth place in the 1,000 meters with a 2:37.28, helping to earn points towards the men’s seventh-place finish in the 13-team field.
Warren, the son of Gerald and Valerie Warren, is a 2013 graduate of Whitney Young High School in Chicago, IL. He is a freshman exercise science major.
