Josh Schultz (Brookfield, WI) of the men’s indoor track and field team is honored for the period of Jan. 13-19.

Schultz set a new CUC record in the indoor 55-meter hurdles at the Carthage College Private College Invitational on Jan. 18. His time of 8.14 seconds in the preliminaries beat his own previous record of 8.26 which was established last February at the UW-Parkside Invitational. Schultz’s fourth-place finish in the finals of the event (8.19) and a third place in the high jump (1.90 meters) helped the Cougar men to finish seventh in the meet.

Schultz, the son of Martin and Faith Schultz, is a 2011 graduate of Milwaukee Lutheran High School in Milwaukee, WI. He is a sophomore biology major.
