Dylan Pavlisin (Villa Park, CA) of the men’s soccer team is honored for the week of Sept. 30-Oct. 6.

Pavlisin scored the game-winning goal with 2:52 remaining in Concordia-Chicago’s 3-2 win over Marian University Oct. 4. He took a free kick from 58 yards away and had the power and precision to find the upper left corner of the net. Pavlisin has moved into the midfield this year from where he has three goals in 11 matches.

Pavlisin, the son of John and Vicki Pavlisin, is a 2011 graduate of Orange Lutheran High School in Orange, California. He is a junior communications major.
