Meghan Johnson (Glendale Heights, IL) of the softball team is honored for the week of April 1-7.

Johnson batted .588 (10-17) over seven games last week with eight runs scored and seven RBIs. She belted her team-leading fourth homer of the season as part of a four-RBI game against perennial conference power Aurora University on April 4 (game one). Johnson also pitched in two games (12 innings), going 1-1 with a 2.92 earned run average.

Johnson, the daughter of Bryan and Mary Johnson, is a 2012 graduate of Glenbard West High School in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. She is a freshman pre-nursing major.
