Tim Staffeld (Hobart, IN) of the men’s tennis team is honored for the week of April 1-7.
Staffeld improved his second singles record to 3-0 on the season with two wins in the Cougars’ pair of conference matches on April 6. He defeated Eric Gavinski of Edgewood College 6-0, 6-3 and Elan Solvik of Marian University 6-1, 6-3. Staffeld also teamed with Jose Landa at second doubles to defeat Marian’s Solvik and Sam Maetzold by an 8-3 score.
Staffeld, the son of Thomas and Debra Staffeld, is a 2009 graduate of Hobart High School in Hobart, Indiana. He is a senior philosophy major.
