Khirey Floyd (Oak Park, IL) of the men’s basketball team is honored for the extended week of Dec. 10-19.

Floyd came off the bench to average 13.7 points and 5.7 rebounds over Concordia’s last three games. He contributed eight points and six rebounds to the Cougars’ win over Maranatha Baptist Bible College on Dec. 15. Floyd led the team in scoring the next two games with 17 against Roosevelt University and 16 against Eureka College. The 6’4” forward shot 57 percent from the field (16-28) and 86 percent (6-7) from the free throw line.

Floyd, the son of Cheryl Anderson, is a 2008 graduate of Oak Park-River Forest High School in Oak Park, Ill. He is a senior political science major.
